C4ES is currently developing Green Climate Fund projects in India, Ghana and Benin.
C4ES is pleased to welcome Dr Marie-Ange Baudoin to our team. Marie-Ange will lead the implementation and development of climate change adaptation projects in Francophone countries.
C4ES developed a large-scale ecosystem-based adaptation project in the Gambia. In June 2016, this project became one of the first 17 projects formally approved by the Green Climate Fund Board.
National Adaptation Programme of Actions (NAPAs) are developed by all Least Developed Countries (LDCs) to communicate their most urgent and immediate climate change adaptation needs. In 2016 C4ES assisted the Government of South Sudan, the last remaining LDC which still needed to do so, to complete their NAPA.
C4ES developed the project proposal for this GCF-funded project. This project will build the climate resilience of rural Gambian communities and facilitate the development of a sustainable natural resource-based (green) economy through the implementation of large scale EbA.READ MORE SEE ALL PROJECTS
Adaptation to climate change, conservation of biodiversity and restoration of ecosystems all require intensive adaptive management informed by rigorous scientific research. C4 specialises in undertaking this primary research and publishing the results in peer-reviewed journals.See Scientific Research projects
