C4ES developed a Project Identification Form for this Global Environment Facility/Least Developed Countries Fund-funded project. The project will enhance the capacity of the Sao Tomé’s government to advance the National Adaptation Planning process. The interventions are likely to include: i) capacity building of the technical staff; ii) revision of the relevant national and sectoral policies, plans and strategies, iii) the establishment of a Long-Term Research Programme for the evaluation of all adaptation interventions to be implemented in Sao Tomé; and vi) the establishment of a monitoring and reviewing system for the NAP process.
