Meet Jaun in Antalya

A registered carbon project isn’t necessarily a bankable one. Closing that gap is what Jaun van Loggerenberg, our Carbon Development Director, is bringing to COP31 in Antalya this November.

Jaun will be in the Blue Zone from 9 to 20 November, speaking as part of the Responding to Climate Change (RTCC) programme on “From Restoration to Revenue: How Ecosystem Restoration Unlocks Climate Finance.” He’ll also be joining wider conversations on what it takes to build carbon projects that are investable in a market now judged on integrity, not volume.

Beyond the sessions, Jaun is setting aside time to meet the people who turn good project ideas into real climate outcomes.

If you’re a project developer, we’d like to hear where your project stands. C4 works alongside developers from the first idea through to implementation, and on the harder steps that follow registration: selling credits and raising the finance to keep a project viable.

If you’re an investor, Jaun can take you through our pipeline of projects that have already passed C4’s rigorous due diligence, and show you our Pre-Scoping Study Tool, which helps screen projects quickly and early, before major spending. It can also be built into the way you receive and assess project submissions.

If you’re working in government, we’d welcome a conversation about building capacity for Article 6 and compliance markets.

And if you see a fit between your work and ours, let’s talk partnerships. In carbon, very little of lasting value gets built alone.
